Senior Account Executive

Krupa Consulting is seeking a hands-on publicist with extensive experience and media contacts in the consumer-packaged goods (CPG), food, wellness and/or lifestyle spaces.  A successful candidate will be a creative and strategic thinker who can bring fresh ideas with a strong sense of work ethic to execute. They will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and have PR experience with food, wellness and lifestyle brands. They must be able to wear multiple hats while immersing themselves in the brands and start pitching immediately; therefore, a self-starter with innovative ideas, who is ready to hit the ground running, is our perfect fit!

  • Proactive, hard-working, and positive attitude
  • Experience in managing team members and maintaining client accounts 
  • Deep connections with media in the food/lifestyle sectors
  • Ability to lead client calls and proactively think about plans, pitching and processes
  • Creative with the ability to pitch trends as well as think outside the box to create non-traditional press pitches and activations
  • Knowledge of editorial calendars, applicable awards for client submission, as well as someone who is on the pulse of trends and news as it relates to the food/lifestyle/wellness sectors
  • Experiencing with working with multiple clients at one time
  • Experience with Muckrack, Google Docs, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, and other press driving programs
  • Strong ability to take charge and desire to grow with the company
  • Be organized and ready to roll up their sleeves with an excellent attitude

Foundational Duties

  • Building and maintaining day-to-day client relations
  • Execute media relations through client pitching follow through and follow up
  • Brainstorm creative brand synergies for clients
  • Lead client calls and proactively strategize for clients
  • Manage monthly reports and related correspondence to clients
  • Coordinating events in which clients are participating and following up with media post-event
  • Other collaboratively determined duties as talents and niche in the firm evolve

Office Policy

As of June 2022, Krupa Consulting is back in office on Tuesday & Thursday of every week. For team members based in LA, we offer a membership to Neuehouse, and all NYC-based team members will have access to our Soho office.
